FÓRUM DE AUTOGESTÃO, AUTODEFESA E FAMÍLIA com o tema: A Cidadania da Pessoa com Deficiência Intelectual no Município
Foi realizado em dia 20 de abril de 2018 na sede da APAE (Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais) de Governador Valadares, o fórum de Autogestão, Autodefensoria e Família no qual teve como tema do evento, “A cidadania da pessoa com deficiência intelectual no município”.
O evento iniciou com uma mesa de café da manhã e logo após foi a abertura com a diretoria da APAE e representantes do Poder Público compondo a mesa.
A banda do 6º batalhão da polícia militar prestigiou o evento com a solenidade do hino nacional sendo executado. Na sequencia cada autoridade presente à mesa se pronunciou aos presentes e ressaltaram a importância desse evento para o melhor desenvolvimento da cidadania da pessoa com deficiência intelectual. Houve ainda a apresentação artística de assistidos da APAE com coreografia e música.
Após o momento das apresentações, todos se dirigiram ao auditório para o início das palestras. A primeira foi sobre o tema: “A cidadania da Pessoa com Deficiência Intelectual no município” com a Doutora Fernanda Ferreira (UFJF). A segunda palestra teve como tema: “A cidadania da Pessoa com Deficiência Intelectual no âmbito do Direito do Trabalho” realizada pelo Dr. Max Emiliano da Silva Sena – Procurador do Trabalho.
Ambas foram muito bem explanadas, na palestra realizada pela Dra. Fernanda Ferreira, foi explicado como é importante reforçar as possibilidades de autonomia na qual o sujeito tem condições de avançar e aprender. Foram 
abordados temas de suma importância como a plasticidade que a neurociência traz atualmente para mostrar as infinitas possibilidades de aprendizado na qual o sujeito pode desenvolver; a importância também do ambiente na vida do sujeito, o que pode ser considerado como fatores de risco e prejudicar o desenvolvimento cognitivo, além de pontuar a importância do reforçamento positivo na vida da pessoa com deficiência.
Vimos também na palestra do Dr. Max Emiliano, as diversas leis que existem quando se trata da pessoa com deficiência, os estatutos, decretos, projetos. Aprendemos sobre as questões voltadas para soberania, cidadania, dignidade da pessoa humana e o trabalho. Foi abordado ainda questões de igualdade, discriminação, inclusão social por meio do trabalho e escolhas.
No período da tarde os participantes de dividiram em três Grupos temáticos para discussão de assuntos específicos, sendo os grupos denominados: grupo de Familiares; grupo de Pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual; Grupo de Gestores. Cada grupo discutiu os temas pertinentes que serão levados para outros fóruns de maiores visibilidades com o objetivo de levar sugestões da realidade vivida em nossa região para que possam se tornar leis e beneficiar cada vez mais as pessoas nas quais necessitam de melhorias em seu dia a dia.
Enfim, pudemos perceber que as possibilidades são inúmeras e cabe aos pais, familiares, instituições promover e viabilizar a realização de cada situação desejada por alguém que busca novos aprendizados e uma vida com mais qualidade e mais dignidad
FORUM OF SELF-MANAGEMENT, SELF-DEFENSE AND FAMILY with the theme: The Citizenship of the Person with Intellectual Disability in the Municipality
It was held on April 20, 2018 at the headquarters of the APAE (Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional) of Governador Valadares, the Forum of Self-management, Self-Defense and Family in which the theme of the event was “Citizenship of the person with intellectual disability in the municipality “.
The event began with a breakfast table and soon after was the opening with the board of APAE and representatives of the Public Power composing the table.
The band of the 6th battalion of the military police honored the event with the solemnity of the national anthem being performed. Following each authority present at the table spoke to those present and stressed the importance of this event for the best development of citizenship of the person with intellectual disability. There was also the artistic presentation of APAE assistants with choreography and music.
After the moment of the presentations, all went to the auditorium for the beginning of the lectures. The first was on the theme: “Citizenship of the Person with Intellectual Disability in the Municipality” with Dr. Fernanda Ferreira (UFJF). The second lecture had as its theme: “Citizenship of the Person with Intellectual Disability under the Labor Law” by Dr. Max Emiliano da Silva Sena – Labor Attorney.
Both were very well explained, in the lecture given by Dr. Fernanda Ferreira, it was explained how important it is to reinforce the possibilities of autonomy in which the subject is able to advance and learn. Topics such as the plasticity that neuroscience brings to show the infinite possibilities of learning in which the subject can develop are discussed. the importance of the environment in the life of the subject, which can be considered as risk factors and impair cognitive development, as well as punctuate the importance of positive reinforcement in the life of the disabled person.
We have also seen in Dr. Max Emiliano’s speech the various laws that exist when it comes to the disabled person, the statutes, decrees, projects. We learn about the issues of sovereignty, citizenship, dignity of the human person and work. It also addressed issues of equality, discrimination, social inclusion through work and choices.
In the afternoon the participants divided into three thematic groups to discuss specific subjects, the groups being called: Family group; group of people with intellectual disabilities; Group of Managers. Each group discussed the pertinent themes that will be taken to other forums of greater visibility with the objective of taking suggestions of the reality lived in our region so that they can become laws and benefit more and more the people in whom they need improvements in their day to day .
Finally, we could see that the possibilities are numerous and it is up to parents, family, institutions to promote and make feasible the achievement of each situation desired by someone who seeks new learning and a life with more quality and dignity
